Abstract

This article presents an analysis of modern software tools for search engines, which are currently being developed and have a wide range of capabilities. The principles of work, weaknesses and features of the software tools Google Desktop, Yandex Desktop, and the Rival Desktop are studied. The results of the analysis can be used to develop general functional requirements for a database of electronic documents when creating an advanced search system
