Abstract

The use of natural gas as a fuel contributes to solving two important problems of preserving the environment: reducing atmospheric pollution and reducing the greenhouse effect. Natural gas produced from underground sources is saturated with droplet moisture, heavy hydrocarbons and mechanical impurities, which can create emergency situations when transporting gas through main gas pipelines. The formation of hydrates is also possible, leading to a decrease in the throughput of pipelines and damage to process equipment. Dehydrating natural gas is critical to the success of a gas transmission system.
