This article describes the possibilities of improving the teaching of the mother tongue and reading literacy subjects in primary grades in the context of interdisciplinary integration, the importance of knowledge acquisition, the application of methods of improving students' knowledge in interdisciplinary teaching based on international standards, the creation of problem situations, as well as the mechanisms for ensuring the content and quality of the scientific and methodological process of teaching to the pedagogical process, the identification and improvement of the content, forms, methods and means of teaching based on the integration of subjects, indicators of the effectiveness of teaching academic subjects, the incorporation of previously acquired theoretical knowledge, practical skills and qualifications in academic subjects into the content of the educational process by students through the application of them in new situations.
