This article analyzes the role of linguistic pluralism in societal development and its significance as a social factor. The author highlights the impact of the phenomenon of multilingualism on the development of the individual and society, its role in the development of intercultural communication, and its place in social integration processes. The article also examines problems related to interlingual interaction, the preservation and development of the national language in the context of globalization.
