This article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of the socio-ontological nature of national customs and traditions, which is the fundamental basis of the development of society. The study makes a case for the fact that traditions are not just a static relic of the past, but a dynamic system that ensures the spiritual genotype of the nation and social stability.
