Abstract
Railway transport consumes more than 7% of the energy generated by power plants in Uzbekistan; mainly it is spent on train traction and partly on feeding non-traction consumers (depots, stations, workshops, etc.). Electricity supply Devices of electrified Railways are also used for feeding adjacent district and rural consumers.
