Abstract

In as much as we strive to implement robust whistle blowers’ protection framework in Zimbabwe, it is imperative to identify that influence the process. The risk of fraud, corruption and other illicit practices remained a cause for concern in both public and private sectors. Hence the need of whistle blowers as oversight mechanisms. It is in line with this view that this study looked at the factors that determine the effective implementation of whistle blowing protection framework in Zimbabwe. The study was therefore undertaken using a mixed methodology approach, to carry out a descriptive survey across a sample of 384 workers in both the private and public sectors who were picked using stratified and purposive sampling techniques.
