Abstract
The article examines fires that have occurred at various objects in recent years, and their tragic consequences, models of fire-fighting powder compositions used in fire-fighting practice, the composition of these powders, their physicochemical properties, advantages and disadvantages. The above data on the powders used in fire-fighting practice were studied and information was provided on the new composition of fire extinguishing powders based on local raw materials.In addition, information was provided on the results of tests carried out to determine the smoke production rates of wood chips produced in the country and found to have moderate adhesion.
