Abstract

The article describes the importance of the gold mining industry and other industries that use it as raw materials, the main risks in gold mining, the largest accidents associated with the gold mining industry to date, the environmental impact of toxic substances used in gold mining, the impact on animals and people, as well as ways to eliminate or minimize these risks.
