Main Article Content
Abstract
The article analyzes the circumstances of the accident at Fukushima NPP and the government's measures to eliminate its consequences after a strong earthquake and tsunami over 13 meters high, including the causes of the accident at this nuclear power plant on March 11, 2011. This experience should be studied to prevent an accident at a nuclear power plant in the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will require the development of appropriate safety standards in case of strong earthquakes.
