Abstract

The oxidative pyrolysis process is characterized by the introduction of oxygen into the reaction zone. Due to oxidative reactions, heat is released, which is spent on raising the temperature to the reaction temperature and on cracking reactions. In order to avoid the formation of soot and make oxygen serve as an initiator of cracking reactions, it is necessary to mix heated hydrocarbons with oxygen in such a way that ignition does not occur at the moment of mixing, i.e. an appropriate displacement device must be selected.
